A series of posts following David and Gail as they walk 480 kilometers from Prague to Vienna.
It is hard to say what had the greatest therapeutic value once we arrived at the Svata Katerina Resort after a 40.5 kilometre day of walking. The food. The wine. The bed. All these were helpful. But perhaps the greatest pleasure was in seeing a greyhound perched on his comforter beside his Czech family in the dining room. To be exact he was an Irish rescue greyhound and it's unlikely sighting at a remote resort deep in the Czech country side triggered memories of our own Styxx, a rescue greyhound from the States, being cared for by a coterie of friends during our absence. We will see you soon, Styxx.
