THE ROAD TO VARANASI
Maha Shivratri (the night of Shiva) is a Hindu festival celebrated every year in reverence of Lord Shiva. On a 2011 trip to India, I captured the colours and gracefulness of the celebrants as they made their way to the sacred Ganges River and the magical religious ceremonies taking place along the ghats lining the Ganges in the ancient city of Varanasi.
